ITEL 9.1.2012 – Thomas Sheridan, Labyrinth of the Psychopath

September 2012 kicked off a great month of interviews on Inside the Eye – Live! On September 1, we had Thomas Sheridan of ThomasSheridanArts.com and author of Puzzling People: Labyrinth of the Psychopaths. Thomas joined via Skype from NW Ireland for a two hour interview where we discussed the nature of psychopaths and the prevalence of psychopaths to enter into the far reaches within the hierarchy of the ruling elite.

You can listen to the entire interview here:

Psychopaths – An Appearance of “Normal”

Thomas Sheridan is not a psychiatrist, but rather approaches his views on what is observable behavior of a psychopath from personal observation, observation which he gleaned from his years working within the financial services industry with such firms as Goldman Sachs. It is while working with Goldman Sach’s, Thomas states, that he first began to become aware with peculiar behavior that is unique to particular corporate personnel personalities and traits, traits he says that become identifiable as those unique to “psychopaths”.

According to Thomas, “psychopaths’ are far more prevalent within human society: psychopaths are not limited to the extreme “serial killer” persona. Rather, psychopaths comprise about 4% of the population, meaning that the true number of “psychopaths” is roughly 4 million per 100 million.

These numbers translate into a “psychopath talent pool”, as it were, over over 12 million individuals in the United States alone. Social and personal vampires, psychopaths, you would think, would be easy to spot. But alas, such is not the case.

Psychopaths, according to Thomas Sheridan, hide behind a “mask of sanity” while projecting their internal chaos onto others. Equally, they excel in corporate, media, and government environments where they show themselves to be “social parasites” who believe they can do no wrong and feel absolutely no remorse for anyone that happens to be harmed while the psychopath winds his way along his individual (or collective) path(s).

Methodologies of Psychopaths – Tools of the Predators Trade

According to Thomas Sheridan, psychopaths may be observed and recognized by their actions which he defines as “Tools of the Predators Trade”.

One of the primary methods or tactics used by psychopaths is called “gas lighting”, a process akin to projecting a reality that does not exist into the mind of the target victim. For instance, telling an elderly person that the lights are fine when the lights have been slowly dimmed over time and, when the target victim complains that the lights are dim, telling the subject target that there is nothing wrong with the lights.

Variations of “gas lighting” are intended to sew doubt and confusion into the target victims perception of observable reality.

Another technique is that known as “projection’. The concept of “projection” can be crafted, too, into larger cultural psychosis. Projections can take on all manner of manifestations. They may be as simple as constant reliance on “ad hom” attacks to projections that caste the target victim into nearly indefensible positions, positions which more accurately reflect the real or psychological state of the projector (psychopath).

Another fascinating observation from Sheridan is the idea that “psychopaths” are prone to inhabit multiple personalities. Perhaps a form of schizophrenia, social predators are able to invent wholly compartmentalized personalities.

Most importantly, it should be remembered that psychopaths are “ardent students of human psychology”, as Thomas Sheridan shares. Appealing to emotions and playing sexual and identity politics is just a small part of the psychopaths arsenal.

Lastly, and most importantly, there is no moral compass: there is no remorse, compassion, or accountability.

So, as we saw and heard from Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State of the United States in an interview with Leslie Stall on CBS “60 Minutes”:

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

Never mind that everything that Madeleine Albright and her fellow Jewish conspirators in the US Gov were chasing were lies and delusions created to benefit a foreign (Israeli) State, that anyone could call the genocide of 500,000 children “worth it” truly shows psychopaths excel in government and that these people have no compassion, moral compass, ethics, or remorse.

Influence of Psychopaths on a Macro Social Scale

With the world elite seemingly teeming with psychopaths, it would make sense that we could observe the mentality of the psychopath on a macro level.

At the root of elite psychopathology is the desire to control and maintain their reality. Hence, we see many factors at work in order to ensure to the best of their ability that their control is absolute.

One such tactic is that of “infiltration” wherein political or social groups are infiltrated and turned as rapidly as possible. Since psychopaths at the elite level have a near unlimited budget to pursue their goals, it should be presumed that most organized social structures are either infiltrated or totally co-opted.

Even as efforts are made to prevent human interaction, there is a constant monitoring via “polls” to gauge the general sentiments of the population at large.

Advances in neuroscience also helps to contribute to elite psychopath understanding of human nature. For instance, chemical balances in the brain may be manipulated through the formulation of “positive” and “negative” opinions, hence through the process of fabricating mass “accepted opinions”, opinions that reach beyond what is “accepted” negatively alter brain chemistry. When “accepted’ opinions are re-entertained, chemical balances shift through the release of dopamine. Thus people “feel happy”, or at least happier and more comfortable.

Unplugging from the Matrix

The final lesson, whether one is being attacked by social parasites on a personal level, or a macro level, it to do one’s best to simply disengage. There is nothing more dangerous to the greater plan of social control than a self motivated person able and willing to fall through the cracks of the social control matrix.
