Aleppo, Mosul – ME News Round-up plus US Domestic Politics – ITEL Radio – 11.5.16
Inside the Eye – Live! for Saturday, November 5, endured a show length DDoS attack against the studio’s streaming servers. A pretty strange event said studio management as the DDoS attack ended on the studio’s streaming servers as Inside the Eye – Live! was finishing for the day.
I guess someone was interested in the show!
The DDoS attack forced our normal recording points to get shut down, forcing us to rely on the studio’s (Revolution Radio @ freedomslips.com) recorded archive files.
The show began with an indepth look at recent events in the Middle East, from Yemeni Houthi ballistic missile launches at points deep inside Saudi Arabia, to the end of a humanitarian cease fire by Russia and Syria that benefited the surrounded cauldron in the eastern part of the city of Aleppo. Iraqi government advances into the outskirts of Mosul as well as the ongoing power projections of Turkey into Iraq’s territory filled out parts of hour 1.
In hour’s 2 and 3, the show saw a large number of telephone calls that resulted in some solid conversation regarding internal US politics, treason by American political elites, the loss of political coherence within many of America’s youth, weaponized immigration policies, were but of a few of the topics discussed.
The show ended on a fun note discussing the Chicago Cub’s World Series Championship and the trotting out of the “ghost of Harry Caray” in singing during Chicago Cub’s “seventh inning stretch” rituals.
All in all, a good show. You can hear the entire show here:
