Revolution Radio and ITEL Radio Agree to Add Additional Hour to Saturday Show Beginning June 1, 2013
Revolution Radio and Inside the Eye – Live! (ITEL Radio) have agreed to expand the popular Saturday morning political talk show “Inside the Eye – Live! with The Fetch” an additional hour beginning on June 1, 2013. The new show format will be from 10:00am EDT to 1:00pm EDT from the current 10:00am to 12:00pm broadcast time.
Inside the Eye – Live! moved to Revolution Radio on April 6, 2013 and has been an immediate hit.
Internet traffic at Inside the Eye – Live! has nearly doubled since the change from the defunct Oracle Broadcasting Network and so the network change has proved a good fit for Inside the Eye – Live! and Revolution Radio.
With the success of Inside the Eye – Live! on Saturday mornings, Revolution Radio and ITEL Radio are delighted to be able to extend Inside the Eye – Live! an additional hour.
Listener Survey – More Saturday Time
A recent poll conducted by ITEL Radio asked listeners and visitors to Inside the Eye Live! to vote on their preferred programming choices. A total of 69 votes were cast over a 2 week period. We considered the 69 votes to be a very successful poll, having set a target of 50 votes. The results of this first ever poll for ITEL Radio were as follows:
Leave Schedule as Is: 3 Votes (4%)
Add 1 Hr to Sat Show: 27 votes (40%)
Add Weekday Morning: 17 votes (25%)
Add Weekday Aft’noon: 22 votes (31%)
Based on the above results, it is clear that listeners are requesting and will enjoy the added hour to Saturday’s morning show. The added hour will enable ITEL Radio to explore topics in greater depth and expand time available for guests. In addition, Revolution Radio and ITEL Radio are exploring scheduling opportunities to expand to weekday afternoons.
