Tianjin Port Explosion, Trump the Likudnik, and US’s Syria “Strategy” – ITEL Radio, 8.15.15
Inside the Eye – Live! for August 15, 2015 continued to broadcast from “The Summer Capital of Saudi Arabia”, or the city of Taif. The show began with a look at the ongoing heat wave in the Middle East that has seen temperatures rise above 50 degrees C in some parts of Iraq. The show then moved into a discussion of GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump and his extensive links to the Likud Party in Israel and then from there, we looked at the muddled and failing strategy of the United States in its creation and taming of its proxy “Islamic fighters” in Syria and Iraq.

The ever popular “Cat Report” had its very first commercial sponsor, which we think was pretty cool. The Cat Report was sponsored by:
Middle East Heat Wave
Lost in all the global news is a severe heat wave gripping much of the Middle East. Iraq’s southern port city of Basra has seen temperatures exceeding 50 degrees C for much of August, while the entirety of Iraq has seen temperatures above 49 degrees C (120 degrees F), but that pales in comparison to what occurred August 2 in Bandar Mahshahr, a city of over 100,000 that sits atop the Persian Gulf. A high of 109 degrees F, combined with a 90 degree dew point created a heat index of over 164 degrees F (73 degrees C), but few countries, save perhaps Saudi Arabia, have been affected by the ongoing heat wave.
Lebanon has seen humidity indexes of over 50 percent as well as elevated temperatures, and in Egypt, the Ministry of Health reported over 90 deaths as of show start time, and the heat wave was expected to intensify into the week with Amman reaching temperatures some 7 degrees C higher than average.
The Tianjin Port Explosion
We then discussed some of the latest developments regarding the Tianjin port explosion after a brief discussion about the history of Tianjin and its historical importance and architectural heritage hailing back to the Western colonial period between the middle 1800’s through the early 1900’s.
China’s Tianjin holds the single most important historical architecture in a district nowadays known as “The Five Great Avenues“, home to over 200 residences and buildings from the Colonial period.
In addition, we looked into the details of Tianjin’s Eye, or Tianjin Eye, or the Yongle Bridge Tientsin Eye, a giant ferris wheel that spans the Hu River. The Tianjin Eye is 110 meters in diameter and is the 5 largest ferris wheel in the world. The attraction doubles as a foot bridge across the Hu River, a feature that sets the attraction apart from the 4 larger ferris wheels.
As regards the Tianjin port explosion, the story was still developing with parts of Tianjin port working to resume normal working conditions, while the center and radius of the explosion zone began the process of damage assessment.
At time of the show, a team of 200 plus nuclear and chemical engineers were deployed to the blast zone, but work was being hampered by prevailing winds and the prevalence of toxic chemicals remaining in the area.
The explosions were said to have originated at a warehouse site owned by Tianjin Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics Co., a company that stores and transports dangerous chemicals. There were reports that firefighters had been called to the area to tackle a blaze before the first blast went off.
There were also reports that company executives had been taken into custody.
According to the Tianjin Tanggu Environmental Monitoring Station, hazardous chemicals stored by the company concerned include sodium cyanide (NaCN), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and calcium carbide (CaC2), all of which pose direct threats to human health on contact. NaCN in particular is highly toxic. Ca (C2) and TDI react violently with water and reactive chemicals, with risk of explosion.
Greenpeace is reported to have stated,
“According to the Tianjin Tanggu Environmental Monitoring Station, hazardous chemicals stored by the company concerned include sodium cyanide (NaCN), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and calcium carbide (CaC2), all of which pose direct threats to human health on contact. NaCN in particular is highly toxic. Ca (C2) and TDI react violently with water and reactive chemicals, with risk of explosion. This will present a challenge for firefighting and, with rain forecast for tomorrow, is a major hazard,”
With over 100 killed and over 700 wounded, this story is sure to develop, and with it, excursions into various “conspiracy theories” are sure to develop with it.
Trump the Likudnik
Lost in all the excitement surrounding Donald Trump’s “Let’s Make American Great Again” is a well kept secret: Trump is, essentially, a Likudnik. No one is said to be closer to Israel’s current ruling coalition than Donald Trump, and this well kept little detail has made virtually no inclusion into campaigning rhetoric.
The Times of Israel ran a bold headline regarding Trump’s run for the President of the US.
‘I have a Jewish daughter. This wasn’t in the plan, but I’m very glad it happened’
When it comes to Jewish ties, no GOP candidate trumps Trump
Presbyterian himself, Republican presidential hopeful’s daughter, two grandkids are Jewish; endorsed Netanyahu; called Obama ‘worst enemy’ of Israel
In other words, Trump is aligned with the faction of Israel most likely to have been behind 9-11. His foreign policy views is beyond naive and borders on the treasonous as he has gone on record of being essentially an Israeli-firster.
Perhaps no one can highlight this little reality better than one of the main Jewish controllers of American politics, the Jewish “billionaire” Sheldon Adelson.
In other words, a Trump Presidency would be like handing the United States back firmly into the hands of some of the violent and irrational elements of Jewish society, and that is saying something seeing how irrational Jewish society is at its core.
A Trump Presidency would promise to be worse that the Bush era and all the crimes and corruption in foreign policy that that entailed.
America’s “Syrian Strategy” – Turkey Plays the Americans
The Establish mouthpiece “Business Insider” has been running a series of articles highlighting the, shall we say, differences of opinion regarding Turkey’s actions relative to the ongoing foreign invasion of Syria by proxy forces.
Inside the Eye – Live! covered many of the twists and turns surrounding the ongoing war against the Syrian people and those who are funding, arming, training, and covering for “Islamic extremists” in Syria.
An insightful show. You can hear the entire show here:
