Tom Goodrich – Rage and Revenge – ITEL Radio – 12.2.17

Michael “Tom” Goodrich, notable for his book “Hellstorm: The Death of Nazi of Germany, 1944-1947”, joined Inside the Eye – Live! for a 2 hour interview.  Of note was the announcement that Michael “Tom” Goodrich plans to move to Europe in the next few months as well as introducing the release of his new book, Rage and Revenge, which is available at Amazon.com.  Tom was a bit subdued in this interview but his presence made for an interesting 2 hours of political conversation.

America – A Morally Bankrupt Global Force

One major element of American foreign policy that troubled Mike the most, and an issue he has gleaned from his years from research as an historian, is the dawning reality that America has launched war and after war after war, and most of these wars have been waged by the elite political and business establishment colluding to send American people into foreign wars based on the same pattern of lies which seem to repeat themselves from war to war to war and generation to generation to generation.

The American people never seem to learn, but worse, the elite political establishment shows massive contempt for the American people and even more sadistic contempt that target those nations and peoples whom America’s business and political establishment decides to wage war upon.

Rage and Revenge – The Ultimate Torture War Porn?

Thomas Goodrich’s latest book, Rage and Revenge, speaks in lurid detail about how men, filled with rage from battle, and perhaps intoxicated by toxic propaganda, turn into some of the most vile, sadistic creatures in the aftermath of the heat of battle.  Covering such wars as the Indian Wars during the conquest of the American West, and the island hopping of the American military against the Japanese, Thomas Goodrich weaves a torrid tale of some of the most unspeakable bestial crimes committed during the aftermath of battle.

From the Amazon.com review:

Rage & Revenge is a terrifying, up-close and personal look at what war and its aftermath are really like. For too long, the true nature of combat and the “peace” that follows has been concealed from the general public. Most who have never witnessed war naively assume that there are rules and laws governing such contests. As the reader of Rage & Revenge will quickly discover, nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is, all war is wild, chaotic, brutal, and primitive. War is also the refuge where some of the most sick and sadistic among us may live out their darkest fantasies. In an fast-paced, no-nonsense writing style, author Thomas Goodrich offers the reader a riveting glimpse at the true face of war in all its ugly reality . . . and in all its ugly fascination.

The book is available from Amazon.com or direct from Thomas Goodrich’s website.  Sales price is US$20.00 and is available in paperback.

To order direct from Thomas Goodrich site, you can go here.  You can order direct through PayPal or send a well deserved donation to mtgoodrich@aol.com.

Alternatively, the book is available at Amazon.com.

Definitely a top show. As always. It is always so good to get your observations on the Middle East, presented as it is with a hefty dollop of droll common sense, insight and humour.

Tom is one of your best guests. Always. He gave me a wonderful gift during the programme when he described himself as “Three score and ten”, since that is the age I hit next summer. It is quite an elegant vintage turn of phrase and certainly lends one’s life a little weight and value; I have adopted it and owe him a thanks. The fact that he is up and moving to Europe at his age is quite remarkable; however, he is personable and can spin a good yarn; he will do well. Gotta find him in Twitterland.

It is late Wednesday and I listened to you on Saturday. I already forget much of what you discussed, simply because it is in there somewhere. Mark Glenn did a wonderful programme that also had me buzzing for a bit. You both are quite different, but your focus is the same ~ speaking the truth as you see it through crystal vision and experience.
