Astrotheology – ITEL PT – 12.26.19

A major winter storm cut California’s land transportation routes between Northern and Southern California. Rain hit the lowlands of Southern California while snow fell across all major roads that link Southern California to the northern portions of the state. At the same time, a devastating storm hit large parts of southern Luzon in the Philippines in what as a disastrous holiday weather event.
But for all the travel disruption back in Southern Californa, Southern California after a strong winter storm is perhaps some of the more beautiful weather days of the year in the state as snow dusts the foothills and the passing rains beat down the smog and ozone, leaving crisp fresh air and marvelous views of the mountains and foothills to the north.
We then discussed a smiddling of astro-theology as the Winter Solstice, the “bringer of light” and the Summer Solstice, the Bringer of Darkness, remained lasting tales in mythology.
A full lunar eclipse, ring of fire, rang in the solstice season in Saudi Arabia. Not sure why or how, but we had no idea it was even going to happen. Sorta says a lot about the type of stories one finds or cannot find in the Middle East.
Graham Hart joined in hour 2 for a fun, dare we say, charming and informative discussion as Graham reinforces his onn lawfare defense of reserving all rights.
